• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey to all,

It is almost spring here in Illinois and am getting the Spyder out of winter storage and thinking again about rear super bright tail and turn signal set ups, with flash if possible. I have see a few and they include the load resistor and mention do not use your 4 way flashers with this set up.!?

Who has used what and how do you like it?

Just trying to make me and my honey more visible to others out there. BTW I travel with my BRIGHTS on at all times cause the focus is so narrow on the low beams you can hardly see a Spyder coming!

Happy riding to all

Andy

This is what I did and it was cheap and makes the "see me" issue better. Rear fender and mud flaps as seen from the rear. The mudflaps are running and turn signals, rear fender are running and brake. The saddlebag reflectors are just reflectors.

Here's what I did..!!

They sell a replacement cover with the lens in it and the license plate light shines through. You can cut the back out of the original. Got it on ebay or amazon. The outriggers were turn signals that I gutted and installed red led lights. Tapped into the brake light wires and added some drop down brackets. Home made stuff but you can get the signals in red..

How did you do the licence plate red lens? The outriggers, something from Ebay or a sponsor here? Nice and bright.

Found various hemel light kits that provide wireless led light mounted to helmet, many configurations , enjoy google. Wasl looking to add the wireless blinkers to my. Saddle bags would allow me to still remove w/o wires in way. Also just recently a motocycle jacket has been on youtube with led arrows on shoulders. I've added reflective tape to my helmet already and friends thar follow me state it works great

Hey guys. This is my first reply since I just registered today. Glad to be a part of the forum. I did several modifications of which the tail light LEDs is one of the first. I replaced the left and right tail light bulbs with Philips super bright LED and added the center LED from Custom Dynamics along with the strobe flashers and it works amazing. Drivers sure stay away because its super bright even during the day. I also changed my rear signal lights with LEDs red and a license plate with integrated LED signals amber. I will take a picture tonight and post up to show you all. Feel free to ask me any questions. Thanks

Not at all. No error codes whatsoever. The only thing is signals flash a lil faster than normal but doesnt bother me. I probably could of installed load resistors but it didnt come with the kit so I left it flashing fast. Im going to try to load a video also tonight.
