• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 ST L Heat Issue Not Hot Enough

Just received my case # from BRP that says "I've created a case (350789) with your dealer. If you don't hear back from them in the next couple of days, please call them and mention that case number." Received this message on Monday 5:37 PM. Waited until today (Thursday) at around 3PM. Called dealer and was asked for my vin #, which they have, and was told that my vin # did not indicate any upgrades available. I asked why, considering heat problems I have been experiencing, and after some nice nudging, was told he would contact BRP to see what could be done. He said it would probably take until next Tuesday to get response. I own a 2013 ST L.
Will keep this site informed. Wish me luck. Seems like it is hit and miss.

 :gaah:Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

sounds like dealer con, my dealer had to look up case# which told them what to do they also called BRP to complain that they received no alert about case# if I would not have called them I would still be waiting. dealer said had a hard time locating BRP message on their computer, sounds like your dealer doesn't want to take the time to look it up

You have to do some of the chasing down. After seeing the earlier threads, I immediately contacted BRP by email then once I received a case#, my next call was to the dealership. So it's beeen about a week of email and setup, about another week for testing the bike for heating issues and an added week to get the new panels shipped. If the dealer doesn't comply, notify BRP and they will tell you whether it qualifies or not. You would've had to submit the VIN anyways to get it checked. I know when I talked with the BRP rep, she said you qualified for the new panels but the dealer needs to ensure there isn't another problem causing it before it gets installed.
