• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. 2013 ST Charcoal Canister dripping fuel after a run

Hi, Are there any others who experience a dripping of fuel from the charcoal canister rubber overflow pipe?
This is also accompanied by a strong smell of fuel after a good run? :sour:
Is this fairly typical?

Not good. VERY Not good! You could be at risk for a fire. Though the risk may not be great, the consequences are pretty dire. I'd get it resolved ASAP!

This isn't bike after a ride. I moved the canister to the 2014 position. It helped a little but obviously not enough. I replaced the intake/air filter to increase airflow under the Tupperware. Still not enough.

Getting the airflow side panels was the biggest help. They are free from your dealer.

I think the problem is the 450 degree heater BRP placed under the gas tank. The NHTSA is looking at the issue. You need to file a complaint with them.

Very common

On the 2013 ST. After market air intake really helps as well as the 2014 air flow panels as Craniac had mentioned. But you will still have a fuel smell at times if the conditions are right.

Next for me is too eliminate the the gas tank heater (CAT) and I will do the bypass sometime this spring.
