• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 ST changing the handelbar level

Has anyone changed the handelbar level on a ST? I would like to retain the stock bars if possible. Any input would help.

Thanks

Good Luck

I believe there is a riser available to lift the bars 1 inch. Don't know if it is BRP or 3rd party, hopefully another member will chime in... Maybe Lamonster's Garage.

I put RT bars on my wife's old STL. They swap out pretty easy. Just takes time. I also then put on a set of TRI-axis bars afterwards.

ST Handelbar riser

Just recieved a call from Heil Bars, No riser avaliable for ST's.

The Tri Axis looks interesting, I review a few video about the install, looks like it could be a winter project. Any idea of cost for the kit?

Good Luck

2013 St Handlebar risers

Thanks for the research Spyderfish. The riser that is offered by Custom Dynamics is for the RS style only, nothing for the ST style, per their CS person.

Thanks again.

Good Luck

Confusing info from CD

Strange, I bought them and installed them last year. Maybe CD dropped the ST version?

Thanks for the research Spyderfish. The riser that is offered by Custom Dynamics is for the RS style only, nothing for the ST style, per their CS person.

Thanks again.

ST Handelbar riser

Spyderfish, the riser that you have from CD, is it a riser block that lifts the handlebar mount? I have seen handle bar riser that fit on the bar itself, but for the ST I wanted to retain the mount.

Years ago I designed and built handlebar risers for my wife's Spyder that were adjustable for height and sweep.

Thanks for the input.

Good Luck

Mount or bar???

Arachnoid, I guess they are on the bars, not the mount, I am pretty ignorant on specific
Spyder terms.:dontknow:

Here is a picture of the actual install:

They work great for me, plus I ended up with places to mount GPS and future cup holder.

FWIW,

ST handlebar risers

Spyderfish, thanks for posting. The risers look good, I can make that style in my shop, and may have to make the mounting block style for myself.

If I decide to make my own I will post a photo on the forum.

Spydi have a good day and good luck
