I'm looking at a '13 ST with a friend who is interested. It is a nice upgrade from my 09 GS. One question we have: does the 13 ST have cruise control standard or not?

Depends....

Which model that one is. The basic one did not but can be added on. I think the STS and the LTD did but someone will confirm for you....:thumbup:

Cruise Control

The ST does not have cruise but it can be added. The ST-S and LTD have cruise control as standard equipment.

Just got one. The ST-S has cruise control. Not much else. Base ST does not.

Base ST does not have electronic cruise control, the ST-S and the ST-LTD have it. ST-S SE5 has standard rider and passenger floorboards as does the ST-LTD.

We seem to be looking at the std ST. It has the original RS style front fenders and foot pegs rather than floor boards for rider. That's still a pretty nice machine. If I didn't have all my nice upgrades on my 09 GS I'd be tempted for myself. A 13 ST SE5 with less than 800 miles on it for about $12500.

The 2013 ST-S SE5 we picked up last weekend was $9000 with 1400 miles on it. The deals are out there.

The 2013 ST-S comes with Cruise. The Base ST does not, except as an option.
