There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2013 Spyder RTL Top Panel w/ Scoop Removal

I've had the heat recall work done on my 2013 RTL and I was just wondering how the top panel can be removed. I seem to recall seeing pictures that show the scoops sharing one of the holes that was used to mount the old wind deflectors. It looks like the gloss black snap off to reveal the screw hole but I don't want to snap off something that shouldn't come off. Can someone tell me how to remove the top panel now that the scoops are installed. Thanks in advanced.

I didn't think that the new scoops covered up those attachment screws...
Can you take a picture of how these parts do that?

You're right. One of the air deflector screws locations is used. Pop the little cover off and it's right there. From there on same as always.

Sure

Remove mirror. Remove the 1 screw that is in the old wind deflector hole. Remove the two screws that are behind the mirror, 1 screw from in front of the seat, and tug the rear prong on the tamper proof pair, then the front one. Panel comes right off, with the scoop attached. Joe
