• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I doubt there's going to be a redesign in 2013. Nothing so far has indicated there will be. We *might* finally get the hybrid RS, but I'd be surprised there, too.

One thing we won't be surprised by: Neutron Green won't be back, it's a 2012 RS-S color. We'll get something new next year, probably all new colors across the line-up (that seems to be becoming the trend for BRP).

My bet is we'll see a yellow return to the lineup.

They better not bring yellow back. :mad: I'm content with my yellow PE Spyder being such a high value item and I want to keep it that way. :doorag:

2013 Models?

About when could we expect information on the 2013 models to be released and when would they be available to dealers? We're picking up the wife's 2012 RT Limited (White) this afternoon and plan to buy mine in July or August; however, I could wait for a 2013 depending on what changes are made. :)
 
My guess. New colors an graphics, maybe a hybrid, and the same old motor. And what we all want, a Spyder with no limp mode/ charging/GPS/ dps / vss issues.

If they keep the same power plant, which I expect them to do, I'd like to see a 6th gear added. PLEASE!!!!
 
I think the general rumor around here was that the RS was getting a facelift and perhaps some internals in the 2014 model. It is a safe bet that the 2013 RS will be the same platform with minimal changes.

As for rumors... they generally are worth very little... I'd not hold off a purchase this year on the 2013's but maybe if I was looking to buy next year as a first time buyer on a *potentially redesigned 2014 RS.

The most credible rumor *in my opinion is a larger motor.....Any other rumor is just a wish list.
