2013 RTS SE5 Maintenance schedule

I have seen various references to a "new" maintenance schedule. I have read through my manual and for the life of me I cannot find what the maintenance schedule is if you ride more than 4600 miles per year. (Probable senior moment). pps: Does anyone have the definitive answer to what is the correct schedule? I did the 600 miles service at 750, and thought my dealer said to bring it back in after 7500 miles. I now have 6300 miles (since April 2013) and looked at my manual to verify when to take it in. I was surprised not to find a schedule (for riding more than 4600 per year). Where is this new schedule?

I thought the dealership told me that the next oil change after the 600 miles one was due at 4000 miles, or total mileage of 4600. Now who is right?:banghead: Sorry I have a 2012 but they should be the same.

There is also an "Annual Inspection" if you ride less than BRPs expected annual amount of miles. If memory serves, it covers about 35 items to be done.

I believe the confusion may lay in the difference between "oil change", "minimum maintenance", i.e., driving less than 4,600 miles annually and your "normal maintence" schedule, i.e., for those driving more than 4,600 miles annually.

Maintenance schedule

Huddlestone - I'm not the expert by any means, but I will state what I know. Prior to 2013 the owners manuals had the following maintenance schedule: initial break-in @ 600mi/1000km, every 3000mi/5000km, every 6000mi/10000km or 1 year, every 12000mi/20000km or 2 years. The revised schedule uses the following maintenance schedule: initial break-in @ 600mi/1000km, every 4600mi/7500km, every 9300mi/15000km, every 14000mi/22500km, in addition there is a note the the * items are to be done annually when driving less then 4600mi/7500km annually, that representing the annual minimal maintenance. This information I have in hand because my wife bought a 2010 RT-S last year (2012) and was given the revised maintenance schedule booklet. This year I bought a 2012 RT Ltd. I would suggest you question the dealer that you made your purchase from, but this is the information that I have. As a side note, I posted today:

Other than the 600 mile service, the intervals listed are for every 4,600 miles, 14,000 miles, etc. In other words you change oil at 4,600, 9,200, 13,800, and so forth. It doesn't matter if you put the miles on in a month, a year, or two years (unless a calendar interval is stated)...just repeat the interval.
