• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 RT SE5 clattering on shifting to reverse or first - Anyone else experience this?

Help a friend get her bike started due to a key issue, and having an issue of having a clattering after shifting to reverse or first when giving it some gas to start moving whether going forward or reverse. Called her to come over before I went any farther. Turns out she said it had been doing this for about 2 months and that the clattering goes above 10 to 15 miles. Rode her back and confirmed that it does go away like she said and it shifts for me in all the gears until I need to come to a stop. I have checked the oil level. Troubleshooting in the manual only talks about not shifting. Anyone else experience this?

Normally the result of using the wrong oil that is not wet clutch compatible. The damage is often not reversible. First try changing the oil to the correct type and see if you get lucky and the issue resolves. If not, you will be replacing the clutches.

Will recommend to her to change the oil. She has had this bike almost a year. Had the oil change done by someone that has worked on Can Am. The oil change kit was bought from Lamonster. She has had some health issues since getting this bike. Less than 100 miles since she bought it.
