• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 RT SE5 $22.5k okay price in NY?

That is not bad but what is the out thee door price! You better ask!

Be careful with the advertised price! After that they add dealer prep, etc....

Bob

It is a good deal, but is that the tag price or are there additional (hidden) charges? Is that the bottom price out the door?

Hi all,

What is the consensus on $22.5k for a 13' RT SE5 in NY?

Y

Look at the BRP site on the homepage?
The RT SE5 is $24,000 There is a $2,000 rebate on the promotion sheet so you base price should be at least $22,000???

Their over-charging you $500 as you put it?

You should get it for under $20,000 plus tax and Reg if you wait till October and cooler weather?nojoke

Yes but.....
Call the dealer for that price and they add dealer prep and other things to the bill! I went this route initially to see what it really cost. All the dealers around here add about $2K for all they have to do to hand it over.

There Raking in the $$$- I got my New 2012 RT Base Model for 17,000 Plus Tax and Reg- No Shipping, No Prep, No nothing..
The price on the 2012 was 21,499 so I saved 4,500 - $2,000 was the rebate.

Gotta be tough with these guys or "Walk Away!!" Theres always another day and another dealer and the closer to the end of the yer the lower the prices go!

RT

I paid $23,000 for my 2012 Rt S SE Limited with 550 miles on it in TX. They did the 600 mile service for me before I picked it up and did not charge me. They had already shaken out any bugs b 4 I got it. But it was $24,900 drive out. There listed at $29,900 here +,+ But I may have paid a little too much but as long as I'm satisfied that's all that matters. I don't think the 2013 were even out in April yet.:yes:

Mine is for sale. It's a 2008 with 1,050 miles. A true show piece really. I'm looking to get $28,000 as my bottom line price.

Air suspension, airbrush, custom seat, will even throw in a paint job matching vest and helmet.

The price they gave me is out the door (excluding tax).
The list was originally $25k :yikes:
Thy brought it down with the rebates for the most part.

Got a Great deal

Went to my dealer in Charleston to test drive a 2013 RT S SE5. Best deal was $22.500 . Went on E-Bay to play match my best price game. Got a blue one, out the door for $18,500. $600 to ship to South Carolina. Louis power sports. Clams to be the biggest in the country. Got the 3 year extended warrenty for $799. How did I do ? If you call Curtis tell him Coach from South Carolina sent you. ;)

If you feel it's a fair price then buy it! Only you can make that choice and don't let anybody make you second guess yourself. It's not always the price that affects the purchase, are the people friendly? Do they act like they want to earn your business or do they just see you as an open checkbook? When I bought mine I checked around MY AREA and not in other states many miles away and everybody seemed to be within a few hundred bucks of each other. Don't use the internet either unless you checking dealers in you area, this is the fastest way to get hooked on "bait and switch" deals and "hidden fees". My 2013 had a $3000 dollar rebate and I got 3 years BEST warranty thrown in. Prices have fallen out the bottom on the 13's but I don't dwell on what I paid for it, currently i'm dwelling on the problems it has:gaah: One other thing to think about is getting it serviced after the sale. It shouldn't be this way but... a lot of dealers put you on the bottom of their list if you bought it elsewhere or online.
