• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 RT Ltd start up shudder

My RT is parked inside my garage. Started it up this afternoon and released the Parking Brake and went into reverse to back out of the garage. It seemed to "shudder" while backing out. Is that a result of the parking brake not fully releasing? Any ideas about this?

I have a 2013 Limited and sometimes on a cold start at first the engine does not run smooth. This happens when I back out of the garage. After running a short time it smooths out.

The rpm (and resulting speed) are severely limited in reverse. If you try too hard, you can easily run up on the rev limiter.

Had your bike dropped back to the Normal 1400 rpm or so idling speed? if you slap it into gear before it settles down; it'll want to act up a bit...

thanks to all of you for your thoughts. I will keep the idle speed in mind before backing out. First time it has done that.

How easily you throttle up in reverse can cause it too. It doesn't take much to get mine to shutter a bit if too much throttle is applied.
