2013 RT Ltd Hiccups - need input please

Greetings everyone - hope you are all enjoying some riding. My 2013 RT Ltd has a problem - on occasion, when started, it idles sporadically, the revs go up and down on its own. If I put it in 1st gear, it clunks into gear and continues clunking rapidly - it does move forward but the clunking is terrible and does not quit. The check engine warning comes on. After shutting it off and starting again 3 or 4 times, the idling is back to normal and all is well, This happens about every 5th or 6th start. Needless to say, it never does this at the dealer!!!!!
Any thoughts? It doesn't seem to matter if the engine is warm or cold.

Check vacuum lines, check purge valve, plugs and plug wires. Do you have a good dealer nearby.

Thanks - yes, my dealer is pretty good - will ask them to check

You could save yourself some money if you took a look at the vacuum yourself! just a thought:dontknow: If you work on your own stuff and have the tools!
