There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2013 RT Limited Issues

I have 450 miles on it and will get the 600 mile service soon. It feels like it is not aligned properly and I feel tire chatter at about 55 mph as well as the steering feels very loose. Any suggestions? Need to provide the appropriate feedback to the dealer. Had a 2010 and it felt more solid. Thanks

They do handle differently than the 2010 but you shouldn't feel tire chatter. Have you checked your tire pressure to be sure that they are no more than .5 psi difference from left to right? Do you have a ton of wheel weights on one front tire and very few on the other?

I hope you get it figured out.

I have a 2013 RT that had the same issues. I I kind of went through a process of elimination to correct my issues. My bike felt like it was darting on the road and felt very unsafe at highway speeds. To correct my issues I had a Baja Ron swaybar installed and a Rolo laser alignment done twice. The first alignment did not work out very well The second time is much much better now just a slight pull to the right now. I also had excessive tire weights on my front tires I had my dealer rebalance the tires and they were able to shed some of the weights much better now. Hope this helps you.

Ball Joint?

Some 2013 owners have had the ball joints replaced to correct front end problems. Known issue from what I've been reading here on the Forum.

Has anybody ever said what is exactly what's wrong with the ball joints that get replaced? My 13 RT/S has steering issues as well, the Bajaron sway bar has helped but I still feel like the handling could be better. Working now to get laser alignment done. :dontknow:

if you call your dealer and give them the vin number they can tell you if your bike is among the bikes with bad ball joints

According to what was said they were pressed to tight and did not allow smooth movement. Needed more pressure to start movement making for the darting and handling issues. But that was not the only thing....alignment, balance, tires etc...:sour:

Sorry It's 2013 and didn't you heard about them yet? If you search all the post about them you'll get the answer to what your looking for.:banghead:

Like was said above, call the dealer and have them check to see if ALL the 2013 recall services have been done (including the ball joints). There were several this year. I did that when I got my '13 in August. Luckily, mine was up to date on all recall services... except the master cylinder recall which came later. Mine had already had a shock upgrade and a ball joint upgrade. If those were not done, that could be your problem. The service department may need to check out your steering problem.

PS: just disregard the head bangers!

I had the same issues on my 2013 RT limited. Wheels bouncing between 50 -56 mph really bad. Dealer replaced wheels and tires and had me get the laser alignment and replaced ball joints. It now runs really great. Tracts great on the highway, runs very smooth and I am very pleased now. I was quite concerned in the beginning because it took a while to get it straightened out. You don't expect to spend this much money on a vehicle and then have to go through re engineering something to make it operate the way it should from the factory. I would never put up with this in a new car so why should I have to with this roadster. I am now really enjoying my RT a great deal. The guys at Rt 1 motor sports in Grant FL were on this until it was resolved. ( Great dealer) I now have almost 5,000 miles and loving it:)

I start an I.V. drip of double-expresso at 4:30am...
By the time it hits... I'm good for the rest of the day! :coffee:
But it does NOTHING for my TyPiNg! :opps:

This was a recall for the 2013. Have your dealer check recall or check with BRP customer service for recall. You will need the VIN number.
