I went for a ride on my 2013 RT and it was still running hot and the temperature was in the upper 50's so the recall notice from BRP in regards to riding at temps. in the 80's makes no difference in the heat problem on my Spyder.

Temperature gauge is almost topped out and gas fumes were very bad.

I have had the dealer check it out, this last October it was so hot that the hoses blew, coolant, thermostat, water pump all was ok. they replaced the hoses and coolant and BRP payed for the tow, The air coming from the right side and the front seat area is like 230 degrees. I have not even put 200 miles on it since, I am going to keep it parked until a solution is figured out. I bought a 2014 Kawasaki KLR 650 New Edition to ride for awhile. I can't handle any more burned thighs and lower right leg.
FORGET, the right side heat and heat coming up around the seat for now. BRP is working on fixing these - there has been a recall, and it will be addressed later this Spring. If the recall does not fix those problems entirely, there are other things you can do, that many 2013 RT owners have already done, to "finish the job"I have had the dealer check it out, this last October it was so hot that the hoses blew, coolant, thermostat, water pump all was ok. they replaced the hoses and coolant and BRP payed for the tow, The air coming from the right side and the front seat area is like 230 degrees.
the only time my temp. gauge is below the half way mark is probably the 1st ten minutes of riding. I am just going to wait it out for a fix, at least I can ride my Kawasaki until then, I am trying to be patient with BRP for now.
