• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After removing the access panel it's easy enough to see but awkward to remove the coolant reservoir cap, but I'll be darned if I can see any level marks or the fluid level itself. What do you have to do? Put a light bulb down in the tank?

Not having any coolant problems but just doing a routine check before leaving on a trip.

Thanks.

If you indirectly illuminate the plastic canister from below, can usually see the level easier.

If you haven't changed your coolant I believe the manual calls for 14k or two years for changing

Got the bike used a few months ago. Coolant about a year old based on maintenance records, heat recall done.

Here's what I do...

The best way is to move the spyder so the liquid moves. It is easier to see when moving....

I wonder

Thinking out loud again :roflblack: Wonder if a guy could drop something like a fluorescent ping pong ball in there? Wouldn't think it would harm anything. Once the tank is empty, it's empty, so it wouldn't plug anything up. And there's ample floating room(I think)if it's at the full mark. Ah, just thinking out loud.:dontknow:
