• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 RSS not happy

Did they tell ya anything else they did??? I have not had that up-date done or had the covers replaced, I have had no warning lights come on. Did they say there had been any moisture in the fuse boxes??

When I took my fuse box covers off when the problem was there yes there was moisture on the covers. If you did not get this done I would take it in and have them do it there is also 2 bolts they replace for the belt guard cover dont know what the importance is there maybe they come loose.

Ok this is what my dealer called and told me was the issue he said it is fixed and running again they are delivering it today. Now how did it leave the dealership without this update the sevice manager even said the same thing he said someone will get an arse chewing over this because the predelivery check list was all checked off. I am still lost at how this made my throttle not work throttle was dead but bike would still start and idle i am hoping it solved all issues and I can get on the road and put this issue in the pasture.

It has happened before some tech who set up a new spyder are the newbies. It did not make it not work but it is fly by wire and the update changed some parameters to make that fault less sensitive. I believe it has to do with the TB sensor feed back. Glad it works now
