• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 or 2014

2010 RTS-SE, Orbital Blue
Even with the discount it seems most would wait and buy a 2014? No worries about first year production? I was ready to trade my 2008 RS on a 2013 until 2014's announced.

Depends..!

are you wanting another RS.. or an RSS..ST..or RT..?? All the big changes in 2013 were adding the ST. All the big changes in 2014 were made to the RT. If you want to update to the RS/ RSS / ST you can get good deals on the 2013's. If you want to go up to the RT maybe get a 2014. It is the first run for this configuration...

Keeping in mind that you'll be balancing the savings on the 2013 versus the known issues that they have endured...
And we don't know yet what's in store for the 2014s...

(But I'm betting on the 2014!)

Waiting on '15

Waiting on the 2015 RT here. First year production on anything scares me. Essentially the 2013's could be classified as a first year with the new chassis on the RT and the intro of the ST. Kinda figured there would be some kinks and that has become a reality. I would love a '14 but don't want to be a test pilot. I'll let everyone else handle that duty for me and I'll be back to the dealership this time next year waiting on the newly configured/adjusted/tinkered/etc 2015 RT.

If it were me in your shoes, I'd get the 2014 RT. In addition to the (promised) better heat control provided by the dual radiators, the exhaust comes nowhere near the gas tank. This should dispense with the "boiling gas syndrome." Plus, with only a single inlet and outlet on the catalytic converter, it should be a simple job for virtually any good muffler shop to make a pipe to replace the cat at an attractive price. The 1330 triple has gobs of torque spread over its total RPM range, which when coupled with the new 6 speed transmission and larger gas tank, should provide for at least 200 miles between fill-ups. http://www.spyder.brp.com/files/en-US/Images/Billboard/2014_Spyder.pdf
