• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 front tire pressures

What are you guys finding as a good pressure for the new low profile front tires? I had 13 psi on my ST from the dealer and it handled fine, pumped them up to 18 psi and I hated it.:( It rode rough and bouncy and didn't track as well.

So I am now running 16 psi and it handles smooth, solid and like it is on rails.

So I think the best pressure will be very different from my 2008 GS

Glad to hear that you've found a "psi" that's working for you...
It wouldn't surprise me tht the 15" tires will work well with less air in them. They've got less sidewall to flex around!

"Old"?

How about "Seasoned"? :D
There's no doubt that the changes to the 2013s will require some different tactics for the old topics...
"Adapt and overcome"! ;)

My 2013 is still in the garage waiting for spring. I appreciate you folks down south chiming in on the new models. My ball joints are on order and higher temps are right around the corner! Keep the info coming!

I got to sneak out today for the Maiden Voyage for 2013... :2thumbs: Let The Good Times Roll!!:ohyea::yes::ohyea::yes::ohyea::yes:

So what pressures did you use front & back on your '08 GS, which is what I have?

Hiya Goat!

The general concensus seems to be somewhere around 18psi up front, and about 26psi in the rear...
But you've got to season it to your own taste! ;)

We had somebody in here get phenomenal mileage out of his rear tire... I don't remember what pressures he was using... but you might want to try and find his thread about it...
