• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is not a good thing if it indeed is true.

Can't we get the bugs worked out of the ones we have first. :banghead: Thats the trouble with BRP, they keep adding things to the lineup without the first model being at 100% Just so you all are aware, this will take the dealers techs a step backwards in the wrong direction again as it did with the introduction of the RT.

Then we have to wait on this Hybrid ( IMO a waste) to come out and yet again our techs will be overwelmed. All these Spyders are not the same and require different training for each.

Most dealers only have one tech for Spyders (like mine), what do you think is going to happen when all these Spyder models hit the floor and more and more people own them ???????? Can you say "going postal" and make sure you are prepared to wait weeks for service again !!!!!! My tech is just starting to get the hang of these and only just became master certified on the RT and that has been out since 2010. :yikes:

Maybe this is part of the issue when people are saying they have a bad dealer. Maybe we are all putting the blame in the wrong spot.

I respectfully disagree :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.

We have been driving the same GS/RS since 2008. They have new years and colors but are basically the same.

We have had pretty much the same RT's since 2010 with very few changes except for color selection.

You would think that most of the bugs should be worked out--but they seem to be adding a few more--e.g. throttle body issues.

RE: techs--I do think its time for a certified training program. Here is a chance to re-start the economy (America The Beautiful--playing in the background) all these jobs for techs to work on :spyder2:'s, more sales for BRP, more sales for farkles from all the supplies, money pouring into the economy, all from the :spyder2: sales and new demand because of the model changes. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

So you repectfully disagree, then go on to agree the bugs are still not worked out. :roflblack:
:roflblack:

This is excactly why I voted for Sara P. She had me so confussed, I didn't know what to believe, well...... besides she was so hot shooting that shotgun............. :roflblack:

Stir, Stir, Stir :joke:

Cue music: (Peace in the Valley) There are more bugs than there should be this far into each model iteration. I respectfully agree. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

“I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I’m not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.” – Robert McCloskey :roflblack::roflblack:

(Although I really thought it was Nixon who said that...)

BRP will want to keep this under wraps

My silence could be bought for a couple STS's

:roflblack::roflblack:

You all can keep a secret right?

;)

On a serious note I like to see the brand growing and expanding their range and appeal to more great people! BRP is wise to stay ahead of the curve and continue inovating and keep other manufactures from stealing their thunder. BRP has done this for years and continues to set the pace with all their products. I for one enjoy their sleds as well as their spyders. :thumbup:

It's important this product line remains viable so they can invest the resources to improve the product. Improvement and innovation go hand and hand
