• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You can't delete it skywalker, but instead of just creating a new thread that risks getting either, both, or just the wrong post/thread deleted, you should simply pm one of the moderators here and ask for your thread to be moved.

You can usually see which moderators are on line at any given time by clicking on Forum in the top left of your page, just inboard of the Home button; then scrolling to the bottom of the page where it says 'What's Going On?' with 'Currently Active Users' immediately below it. Any moderator currently on the boards will listed with their username in GREEN in that list of active users - click on one of those GREEN usernames, then when their profile page paints up, scroll down the column on the Left until you reach Send Private Message, it's generally the second option down. Click on that, the Private Message page will paint up with the moderator's username already in the adress field, add a title to your message, and in the text field provide as much info as you can about which post/thread you've put up & why you want it deleted - which could be as simple as a link to your post (a copy of the address line from the top of your browser's screen when you have that post/thread displayed) & something like "I put it in the wrong place; I meant it to go ..... " wherever... - a link to the correct thread would help, otherwise you'll need to describe it carefully, with the title of the thread exactly as shown above it and ideally the username of the member who started the thread.

We can easily move a post/thread if appropriate, but we do try to avoid actually 'deleting' posts &/or threads these days (as it harms the Forum's viability & too many deletions could ultimately cause the whole Forum to be shut down! :banghead: ) but we can 'hide' posts/threads if warranted. ;)

Over to you!
