There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

And probably working, or getting off work. That's in the half-day window we go to during the holiday season. I might be on the road that day going home to Mom's for Christmas with the wife and Grand kids.

The usual--but taking note it is winter solstace--the shortest day of the year here. About 6 hours of daylight and then the days start getting longer again.

Well since the day before I MIGHT have been out buying a new Mercedes and BMW, a houseboat, a vacation home in the mountains, a couple of new bikes, and lots of jewelery to spread around...

Being as I'm not buying into that calender doomsday thing (seen too many doomsdays come & go already),
and considering it's a Friday....I'll probly be out in the shop maybe finishing a VMax carb rebuild, working on some little do-dat thing on my XJ, or possibly doing some :ani29: mod....sippin' coffee
and listening to the radio

I didn't want to say anything, but everybody's culture bashing made me step in and bring to your awareness that the Mayan's did not predict that the world would end on the 21st of December 2012.
The Mayans simply inscribed in stone the ending of a 26,000 astrological era. This winter solstice marks a 5,000 year alignment and a 26,000 year alignment. You can check this with modern science and learn more about the uniqueness of this event.
Arrogant scientists tried to decipher these markings and without fully understanding their culture, beliefs, and language told the world the Mayan's predicted that the world will end. An era will indeed end.
But there is one thing everyone can learn from this. If you live like the world is going to end this December, you will live a more fulfilling life and remember not to hurt the ones that love you. If the world does not end, it will be a better world for our children.
