• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2012 spyder rs sm5 clutch noise help!!!!!!

I have a 2012 spyder rs sm5 with 2500 miles. I have noticed a small noise that is in the clutch area. When I put the bike in Neutral and disengage the clutch I get a gurgling noise like something is loose and shaking. You can feel the vibration throughout the bike. If Engage the clutch lever the noise and vibration goes away. I've replaced the clutch thinking it might have been warped clutch plates , and the noise is still there . If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated

Tough one..!!

Have a 2012 RS sm5 as well. They all have a different sound with the clutch in and released when in neutral. Depending on oil type and condition this can vary. If you went as fas as changing the clutch package you must have a serious noise. I have 27,000 miles and the noise difference is only noticeable but not bad. The only other part would be basket and bearings....
