• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm about to begin experimenting with the preload adjustment. Where are you keeping yours set, or do you ever adjust it? The manual says I need to jack it up to adjust the shocks so I guess I will do that.

Mine appear to be in the middle, but I want to firm it up and just see the impact on handling.

I had a 2011 RSS ( and an 08 GS ) ..... these spyders had the same type of adjusters as the 12 year ..... I DIY'd a bracket that changed the shock angle ( more up-right ) ( I have pics of that bracket in one of my Albums ) .... The bracket improved the firmness of the shock ... so I could ride at a # 1 setting and still have a firmer ride ..... Mike

I just bought mine and so I thought I should check the tire pressure. It had 11 psi in the front tires. Sheesh. That should help.

If your Spyder still has OEM -Kenda's .... then use the PSI's in your owners manual .... If spyder now has Auto tires both Peter and I recommend 15-17 psi front .... and 18 psi rear .... good luck .... Mike
