• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2012 RTL and I'm getting a check engine light. When I check for codes, I get a clear screen. Any Ideas out there?

If it's an active code ( the icon is blinking ) you should get the code number...... for the past 5 mos. mine has been blinking almost every time I ride. Plus I get the " Limp Home " message .... but the Spyder runs great ( I'm actually getting 2 MPG better since this started ..... Mike

thanks Mike , do you know of any way to cancell the check engine light?

If it's an active code, it's likely to re-appear ( because there is an issue ) .... sometimes " gremlin codes " can be removed by disconnecting the Battery terminals and touching them together.... then re-attach ( adding Star washers ) ..... can't hurt to try it .... Mike

Mike since it doesn't seem to be bothering how the Spyder runs, have you looked into what may be causing that light?

It is possible that the rubber hoses on the left side of your engine might have cracks in them. Many riders switch to silicone hoses which can be bought at NAPA.

I'm having the same problem with my 2022 RT Limited with 2000 miles. Check engine light on but no codes displayed...

Sorry Desert, but I'd guess that your 2022's issue is probably not going to be the same as that which caused this on the OP's 2012 RT; but then again, that Check Engine Light does tend to be a bit of a 'Catch All indicator' for a whole range of issues - some of concern, many not...

Is there anything else you can tell us?? Any momentary flashes of other lights maybe? Engine surging issues?? Anything?? :dontknow:
