• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had posted a while back about my wife Spyder shutting down. Well yesterday I found out that her kill switch isn't working. Bike has a little over 1300 miles on it. Don't know if this is the problem or not but could be related. Going to call dealership tomorrow to set up a appointment. I know it hasn't shutdown in a while. I never use one, but I think it needs to work just in case she needs it.

I need my kill switch replaced also but because it does NOT turn off my 2012 RT-S :dontknow:

The kill switch on the Spyder works through the DESS (security) module. That could also cause stalling. You need to have a dealer look at it. I suspect the DESS module will have to be replaced.

Had the same problem, the engine would shut off, then refire , sometimes right away or sometimes it took longer and I had to restart it myself. The dealer in Hudson Falls fixed it for me , I was up at Americade. They replaced the kill switch and the wiring down to the main harness and it hasn't shut off since. __But__ now I'am having the same problem with my audio shutting off and on, It sucks when Highway to Hell is playing and your audio shuts off. I might have to ride back to N.Y. to get it fixed.:yes:PIC-0537.jpgmtl_create_us_states_map[1].gif:bowdown:

You lose AC/DC while at speed?? :yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:
Here's something to get you through the rough patches...

have your dealer run your vin# theres a maintence check for the fm modulator it may need to be replaced due to corrision or water getting in there.
