2012 RT-S

Does anyone have information on when the 2012 Models will be shipped / available in Dealerships?

I am wondering if they will be around in November or if I have to wait until the new year.

BRP has been posting information about the new 2012's on their website. You might try the find a dealer section. It appears that things are going slow this year.

Hey Starcruiser I thought you already got your RT. I guess you went for the 2012. I know when I ordered the 2011 RT in late Sept. it didn't get to the dealer until April .

I didn't want to settle for the Audio Convenience when I really wanted the RT-S. The price was actually better on the 2012. Just hoping it won't be a long wait into the New Year.
I ordered my SE5 January 2008 at the Bike Show and got it late September, but it was really the first production year.

Believe it or not; The Missus hasn't exactly been against me trading in what's left of my A&C for an RTS... It just has to stay Blue though! That way nobody will know that I traded! :2thumbs:

My wife's Lava Bronze RT Limited has been on order for two months now. We are trading in her 2010 RT on it and when we did the deal they appraised her trade in with 10,000 miles on it. Now is has 13,000 on it and we still haven't seen the new Roadster.

Yesterday the dealer told us they have not been advised of any shipping date at this time. We're hoping for November and by then the old bike will probably have 15,000 miles on it.

Same kind of deal with my trade in. The dealer was going to take the trade in, but I asked that I keep it until the RT-S arrived. 72,000km when I signed, 75,000km now. Still runs like a top, but i am opting for the comfort & convenience of the RT. Just hope I don't loose interest in the twisties though (separate thread). The Cruiser Control may spoil me a little

Their Open House is the 22nd and 23rd, and I'll be there bright and early on Sunday morning...

2012 Models

Hi Bill,

I hope all is well.

My BRP dealer is having an open house November 5th to display some of BRP's 2012 models. I asked if they will have any Spyders: they replied they are expecting a shipment at the end of this month, but no confirmation. If they confirm they will arrive, I'll attend, snap some photos and share any information I learn.

Stan the Man, I will let you know when I get it and maybe take a ride to "The Big Needle". I am not sure where I am in the list order, but hoping that the Blue is as nice as the web sites shows. Looks quite a bit lighter (and Brighter than last years, which was also nice
