• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone have a link to a u-tube video how to change front brake pads on a 2012 RT? Thank you in advance.

It's a pretty straightforward thing. If you remove the wheel: you can remove the caliper. Once that is loose: the pad removal is painfully apparent! :2thumbs:

You're talking to someone who has not done this before. It looks like the pads should pull out but I didn't want to force it. More details would be appreciated.

finless Bob video is very good. The pads hang on a stud on the caliper piston, just lift them out. Get some disk brake anti squeal from the auto parts store and put it on the back of the pads. This will keep them from squeaking. The pistons will need to be compressed you can do this with a c clamp. Get some brake cleaner and spray your calipers clean before you reassemble. Do one side at a time,if you get lost you can always refer to the other side. If you need to take lots of pictures to guide you back. PM me if you need more help and I'll send you my number.

This really is very easy to do and very user friendly, so go for it........... you know you want to.
