2012 RT experiencing mushy brakes - pedal hitting the a/mkt floorboard! Why now?? Re-installed OEM gear, still mushy! Any ideas or suggestions?

I actually had the brake fluid changed and the system bled in Oct by a dealer with BUDS.

Thanks Doug, for the timely information. I knew about the front caliper situation but had forgotten about it, thank you for the reminder.

@mecsw500, things are fine here in Spring City. Our major disruption here is the smoke from the Widemouth II fire in Filmore (smells like a campfire) and the firefighters for the Black Canyon fire have taken over our city park for their bivouac/staging area. Spring City Canyon is the closest road up to the Black Canyon area. Tragically, a helicopter with two crewmen on board went down for unknown reasons and the area is so rugged and also because of the fire they can't get in to the crash site.

Truly sad about the helicopter crew. It seems the fire was ignited by the crash itself. I have seen a Sky Crane up close. It was the entrance exhibit at the Pema aerospace museum in AZ. You can stand underneath it and see how truly vast they are.

That aircraft was part of the first series of type A aircraft serving in Vietnam. It was a candidate itself for being retired to a museum in Florida in 1992. It led a hard life fighting fires all over the US and Canada. I’m not saying at 59 years old that was a factor of the crash, but it did an amazing job throughout its life.

That “service life” cannot however begin to match the amazing lives of its crew, risking everything day after day to keep us safe and paying the ultimate price for that dedication and service. Prayers for their families, colleagues and friends, especially for their ground crew who must be especially devastated.
