2012 RSS Trouble

Hello friends! My 2012 RSS Has a re occurring problem. It gets stuck between reverse and neutral. Then it flashes E and check transmission. My dealer has replaced sensors etc. They had my bike 9 weeks at least over the summer. I have an open case with Can Am but so far they have done nothing. Please help!!

:dontknow:​....I had an issue with the paddle switch ( SE ) that was intermittent so it took dealer awhile to get a something they could show BRP to handle under Warranty ( they finally did )......................not sure if was the same as yours .........Mike :thumbup:

I'm guessing this is the semi automatic model. Also assuming they changed the gear position sensor. As BLUEKINGH911 said there have been issues with the paddle shifter on the bars the other the other is a break down in the communication to the computer...there was a thread recently about this...:thumbup:

An intermittent paddle switch will show up on the buds, so that would be an easy find. So unless your dealer is incompetent, I would rule that out.

I'd ask to see what the BUDS report was showing; if for no other reason, than to see if they actually hooked it up...

are HID's headlights installed on your RS. If so the problems you describe may happen when you first start up the Spyder. Taking key out for a few minutes will clear the problem
