2011 RTS Se5 Purchase

Totally new to riding and driving a Spyder but I decided today to pull the trigger. Unfortunately it started thunderstorming immediately after I signed for it.....hopefully that is not a sign.

Quite a bit of money to spend on this, but I appreciate everyone's feedback on this site. I have been looking at reviews and comments for almost a year now. I feel confident I made the right decision.

I am wondering if I made a "deal". It is a 2011 RTS-Se5 Silver, I paid 25K out the door, tax and title included. It seemed everywhere I looked they were running almost 26k plus tax and title. So I felt this was a great deal.

Let me know what you think! Looking forward to our first trip in the next few weeks to DC, I am taking my 11 year old son for an adventure of a lifetime!

I just bought...

I am waiting for my spyder to shipped to me in the NW. I found a 2011 RT-S SE5 LTD with 257 miles on it. It comes with a 6 year transferable Bumper to Bumper warranty, 2 new helmets and two CanAm Cavalier jackets still with the tags on them. It was purchased from a fellow who bought it 9 months ago and he developed health problems that prevented him from riding. I snagged it for $25,000. Seemed like a good deal to me.

After I bought my wife her :spyder2: and got to ryde it, I could have cared less how much I paid for mine. I just had to have it and have never looked back. BTW, It is and never will be for sale. I will be buried with it. I hope it is many years in the future.
