2011 RT Owners - anyone looking to swap with a 2010 windshield?

I have arranged buying a 2011 (short) windshield and may or may not end up selling my 2010 (tall). There are several other matches possible here in this thread so I will leave it up, good luck all.

Well, I am six feet nine inches tall and riding a 2011 RT wishing the windshield was taller. Mine has about 1200 miles and the windshield is in perfect shape. I am open to trades as I sure would like the bigger 2010 windshield better.

Anyone nearby want to do a direct swap and quick trial to see if we are both happy?

Guess I'm used to going against the grain

I'm in the minority here, did the opposite. Had a 2010, traded it in for the new 2011 Viper Red RT-S (Teds RedSled) & found myself missing the larger shield like crazy, so traded the smaller 2011 shield with StriperKing & haven't regretted it at all. Actually had a 2011 RT-S for a couple of days, & that was the biggest difference that I noticed right away. With the smaller 2011 shield, I felt almost like I didn't have one at all, even with rasing it. The wideness (IMHO) is what made the largest difference. Especially with all the cold weather ryding that we do, I really love our 2010 larger shield :thumbup: Just our 2 cents

I have a 2011 rt and I.m 6'1" so the taller windshield for riding all year long sounds like a good thing for me. If you still have it let me know

Just got back from a windshield swap with ThreeWheels. We met halfway in Sturbridge, swapped in 10 minutes and drove away happy.
The road test home proved the worth of the swap for me- the 2010 bigger shield works great for me- less turbulence, better coverage, altogether a good thing.

I'm glad it worked out for you. I too am happy with the swap.

I'm afraid however, that I got the better part of the deal.
You see, while you were heading north and I was heading south. Not 10 minutes ride from where we left each other, the weather broke and I had to put down my sun visor all the way home !
