• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm having a problem with the frunk switch working. Last time I was in to the dealer,he looked at and determined that it was the switch on the console, and would replace it for $100. I thought this was a bit pricy and decided that turning the key to open the frunk was cheaper. Has anyone had luck finding an aftermarket switch to replace the frunk/parking brake switch?

By the title I thought per chance he may have been referring to the kill switch that some of us might accidently hit when we.......we......well let's just say when we have had too much to drink. <smiles>

never looked but I'm sure you can find one online searching for electical switches (automotive). if not you could mount a seperate switch elsewhere...

Understand that replacing that switch is one pain in the a** (at least it was for me), so $100.00 for the switch and to have it installed right might not be that bad.

Please check your Frunk lid "closed" switch! This is the most common reason what the electronic dash switch wont work.
This switch actuator arm is easily bent and if it is not working your dash Frunk switch wont work period.

Hope this helps.

Yep! Good idea to check if it is closing properly.

If that does not work, getting it fixed right might be good. Electronic frunk switches are now a collectors item.
