• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:2excited: 'bout the 2011 RS-S. Has anyone stopped by their local Spyder dealers and seen these new :dontknow: models in-hand yet? :spyder: Any pics? :doorag:

Called BRP and they have not started building them yet . Was told by BRP That assembly starts in Nov

:spyder2: assembly starts in November? Gives me more time to save up--hopefully convince my wife to purchase one! :doorag: Can't wait to see some in-hand pics from Lamonster, though! Thanks in advance!

Happy to report--

--that I finally have a 2011 RSS SE5 in my garage!

Thank you, BRP, for producing such an awesome machine! I would never have the experience to ride a "motorcycle" if it weren't for your "roadster." And with my SE5 model, shifting is very intuitive, IMHO.

You Spyder owners aren't kidding, ryding and owning a :spyder2: is a BLAST!

Time for me to save up some $$$ for mods in the near future. Keeping my fingers crossed, I just hope I'll still feel this excited with my :spyder: a year down the road!

:congrats:
We saw them at our dealers yesterday! :2thumbs:

Which one did you get? Post some pics so we can have a look at it!

:congrats: on the Spyder :2thumbs:

You'll probably feel more passionate about your Spyder as time goes by.

Just got back from rydin' my :spyder2: on the 118-Fwy. Was able to reach speeds @ 95mph--still taking baby steps! :ohyea:

Was that speed a BIG "no, no" until I pass the 600mi. break-in perod?

It felt good to feel the RS' power on the freeway this Sunday morning, 'cuz I've mostly been ryding it thru stop-and-go traffic to and from work :(

100% per personal desire and liking to follow the recommended break-in schedule from BRP.

The RPM required to get the speed is what I spook over...

BTW.... You have no idea how mush self control I had to have to not crank the throttle till 600 miles... But I can say this... @ 600.1 miles (Eyes pealed on the gauges from 585.7) I dropped from fourth to third... Tire chirped, went into fourth and I was @ your speed in a blink of an eye... Into fifth, learned how much of a shovel my windshield is, and have not stopped grinning since. :doorag::yes::bowdown:

Not to mention how sexy the exhaust sounds when the engine is throttled open... Oh my... (Starting to perspire with that thought) :firstplace::thumbup:
