When I was at BRP I had my cluster updated to the 2011 cluster. Mine was still preproduction and there were some new updates. One of the first things I noted was when I stopped to get fuel I had to put a lot more in the tank than before at the same bar reading. On the last leg home I decided to see how far I could go after the low fuel light came on. Understand that I was running 80+ towing a trailer at the time the light came on.
Light came on at 120 miles and I ran completely out of fuel at 139 miles.
Now here's the real eye opener. I had two gallons of fuel with me and when I added them my fuel gauge came up to 3 bars on the cluster. Looks like I'm going to have to make some adjustments to my fuel stops if I don't want to be sitting on the side of the road somewhere. :lecturef_smilie:
