• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2010 Spyders

There has been one on the floor of our dealer in Kalamazoo, MI since early last week. Looks nice in person.

Glad to see the 2010 RS's on the floor!

NancysToy: Does it look any different then the 08/09 RS's? Which color was it in? I know there are new colors for the 2010.

cheers.

Looks the same, except the white ones have different panels painted. Some that were gloss black before are now colored. The blue is like the old ones, as far as I know.

OK , here we go with more letters and numbers: and RS-S(?????) and on the same bike a B1-AC (????). Sounds impressive but what does it mean? Scotty?

RS-S is BRP's "name" for the white, sport model (like RT-S for the top of the line touring Spyder). RS stands for "Roadster Sport". Maybe the extra "S" stands for "Superior". :D The B1AC is the official model designation, in this case spelling out a white SE5 RS-S.

You know, when I look at the home page here and look at the 2010 Spyders, none of those look like the one on EBay linked in the first post. Is the one on EBay really a 2010? :dontknow:

The Three shown on the home page are all RT's. The white one on EBay is a 2010 RS.

There are still 08's around here. The RTS will probably sit on the floor a looooong time. Also looks like dealerships will be selling a lot of white paneling to upgrade a dinged up machine. I like that white. Not sure gray/white color combo would look good, but I wonder how blue/white, red /white or yellow/white would look.

Action MotorSports in Lafayette, Indiana still has four '09 Spyders on their floor, including one Phantom. Lousy local economy likely sez they will be there for a while longer. One 2010 is on order for a customer...sales staff pessimistic about any 2010s for the floor, but one.:dontknow:

After Looking at "Build a Spyder" it appears a 2010RS with SE5 Transmission would be equal to my 09SE5. Cost would be $16499 Plus $1500 for Auto or $$17999 Cost!!

Now I bought mine (1,760 Miles) on Oct 7th 09 for $15300 plus Tax and Reg. Soo I feel Very fortunate to have gotten that deal and glad I didn,t wait till Spring 2010 to purchase?:D
If I didn,t own a Spyder today and did not require the Touring Model I would search and quickly buy a left over 09 before the weather warms and prices Skyrocket!!:dontknow:

I just noticed the same on the Canadian side (difference prices up here), but the SE5 speed is on the RSS as the only gearing choice. The RS can be either SM5 or SE5.

thanks
