2010 RT wont rev past 3500 rpms.

This situation started a few weeks ago and is now a constant problem rendering my bike useless once again. Bike starts fine, idles erratic but it always done that, let it warm a few minutes put it in gear and stalls. Restart and try to rev it up it hits about 3500 rpm's then erratic dropping from 3500 to almost a stall up and down. Does this in gear also if i can keep it going. No codes and every so often it will start and run fine but far and few lately. Bikes way past the warranty and no cash to take it to a dealer. Anyone ever have this issue or know what might be causing this? I tried searching the forums but could not locate this issue.

Cracked or broken MAP Sensor vacuum hoses. lots of threads on the topic.

Thanks for the idea, just took panels off but hoses are fine, but after looking closer to the throttle body i have discoverd the front throttle body boot has cracked all the way around, probably why it's not throwing a code? Anyways i hope that is the only problem??

Seems the part is an updated part, and there only $30 bucks a piece, crazy.....

glad you took a look. Hope this will fix your problem but double check hoses the look good but twist them and bend them a bit..:thumbup:

While you're up under her skirts :shocked:; turn off the lights, and make sure that your plugwires are arcing...

Ok, well the boots are cracked but not through, wires are new and plugs less than a few hundred miles (BajaRon) so I'm still at a loss......its like limp mode but that doesn't display on the screen.
