• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is the second time the can am will not start. Went from Barre VT to Irvine Ca three weeks ago and were succesful in getting there however when the bike sat for two days and we tried to start it--no luck. We had it towed to the Irvine dealership where we were scheduled for an oil change anyway. Here's what they told us--Found carbon fouled spark plugs and replaced them. Customer had same symptoms as a stuck evap purge valve. The valve is working now. May want to have valve replaced in the future. Well, we drove back to VT using the northern route and landed safely Saturday morning with no prolblem until we tried to start the bike this morning (Wednesday) and the same thing happened again. This time, my wife was persistent and after many tries, it turned over but it does not give us confidence. We have scheduled another oil change and valve job for next week as normal scheduled maintenance. Has anyone else had this problem. We are a little worried scheduling our next trip. By the way, the trip was awesome but we are going to leave Kansas, the heat and wind, to Dorothy and Toto the next time we travel!! We never saw another Can Am (7200 miles) during the entire trip until the very last day in Malone NY. Go Figure

If it turns out you are repeatedly fouling plugs, there is something amiss with the ignition system, fuel injection system, or sensors. There are many possibilities. Have your dealer contact BRP dealer tech support for help in troubleshooting this problem.

You could also try the "drowned engine mode" in case it's flooded:

Thanks--will definitely be bringing it up with the dealer and your suggestion.
