2010 RS-S paint scheme ideas?

Hi all!

Just picked up an RS-S which is in need of a paint job. Not sure what happened; my first thought was that it had been repainted, but now I'm thinking that for whatever reason the factory paint didn't work out so well on this one. At any rate, I'm not the most creative when it comes to Spyder paint, so if you guys have any fun/creative/brilliant or not ideas, I'd love to hear them.

I was even thinking of doing something like keeping it white but with dark blue racing stripes, Mustang Shelby style. If anyone can do photoshop, I'd love to see a mockup!

Or if anyone wants to photoshop different colors and/or patters and post on here, I'd love that too.

How long do those typically last? My Spyder isn't a garage queen, spends a lot of time out in the elements (but I try to park it under cover when not riding).

All the film we use is a cast automotive grade material. Most have a durability rating of a minimum of 7 years or more. Keep in mind that like anything else you own, how you maintain and care for it will determine how long it will last.

Having the grey metallic paint on mine I'd always fancied doing a H.R. Giger style paint job i.e. in the style of the the film Alien. I thought the front shape of the RS would lend itself to that, one day I'll get around to designing it.

Ha ha, the latter! . Actually, I have a herd of SAABs and their symbol is a griffon. Also, my F3S reminds me of a griffon: big chest, sharp beak, slender behind .

hodd & top filmeed with 3M with nonglossy 95% look-like film compared with the paint 2014 white RSS - Wanted the same stripe look-a-lika i have on my car..

Gonna fix the mirrorcaps on the car so they match the spyder, have now the R-design chromed on the Volvo C30 2010 D4 R-design, tuned to 191Hp/ 500Nm , gonna change them to glossy black!! .. The difficult thing is to change the rims on the spyder to black/white... the rims on the Volvo C30 is realy rare Volvo original Atreus white/black 18" think its cheaper to fix rims to the Volvo tho match the spyder .. like the Volvo Ixion 18" sorry if my spelling sucx.. late night and some drinx..

It's nice to see a Spyder in Sweden! I've only been there once and only got as far as the airport (it was a layover in Stockholm) but always wanted to go back in the winter
