• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2010 RS bogs down when starting out in 1st. gear (auto)

1st gear bogging

Based on the info supplied the possibilities are enormous :yikes: ...... sorry .......Mike

:agree: For starters:
How many miles are on the bike?
How long have you owned it?
How long has it been doing this?
What modifications have you made to the bike?

If you can fill in these blanks; we'll be able to start asking the questions that might just help figure out what's going on.

Thanks for the reply.
Since the plugwires are 5 years old: that's a place to start looking.
The heaviest loads on the bike, are when you try to get it moving from a dead-stop.
If the plugs are original: they probably need changing also.
A fuel filter that has received it's share of junk over the years could also be restricting fuel flow...
Air leaks around the intake manifold?

It sounds as if the bike could use a trip to your dealer...
