There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2009 GS Fuel Gauge not working, sender wiper not contacting - any replacements, substitutes, or other solutions?

Hello - my fuel gauge is not working on my 2009 GS. The issue is the wiper arm copper connectors are not making contact with the resistor board. It appears you have to buy the whole fuel pump assembly at $625.00 and Can Am doesn’t carry the wiper arm. Obviously, I don’t want to purchase the whole assembly for what should be a super cheap fix. I ohm'ed out the sender and could see it was not making contact. If I push on the contact, it seems to work fine. Anyone out there find a replacement or substitute that I can try? Anyone Frankenstein a solution? The connection seems very delicate and what I’m seeing out there in the used market for fuel assemblies is too risky and pricey to hope it will be ok.

Could possibly take it apart and put a dab of low temp silver solder on the arm so it can hit the resistor?
