There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2009 brake line replacement

Hi everyone.

2009 GS spyder. I might have to replace brake lines. Any idea on what this might cost at a dealer?

Thanks!

Why...?

Best I can see is about 3.8 hours at whatever the shop rate may be... parts I would get from cheapcycleparts.com as it is not a warranty issue and their prices are much better.

Thanks for reply. I'm pretty sure its leaking from the black lines on both sides of the rear shock. I attached pic

Where is the brake fluid reservoir on this machine - right above there and under the seat? Can it, instead, be seeping down from the reservoir due to a crack or cap issue, or something?

I agree - check up higher first - wash off the muck etc and press brake and have a look - its strange for pipes to go first unless damaged.

Is you fluid in the revivor dropping are you having to add fluid? I am thinking you my have oil blowing back from the motor! Wash it all down and keep an eye on it to see where its coming from. Good luck

From the new info I would agree with checking the reservoir caps as they need to be installed with the vent to the rear of the spyder. I think they also have updated caps but mine leaked and ran a similar route.
