• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2008 transmission problem

Curious..!!

sm5 or se5..?? Is it only 2nd to 3rd..?? Has this just now started..?? So here are some things to consider...oil level, rpm's at shift (should be 4,500/5,500 rpm's) make sure your not letting up on the gas when shifting if semi automatic. Otherwise we would have to look at other areas but more if all shifting is off. Paddle shifter, shifting selonoids gear indicating sensor....:dontknow:
 
Thank you for the response. My spyder is a Se5. Checked the oillevel and it was high. Just did an oil change last week, and was first time I really rode it since. When the oil was changed my husband did not do the shifting sequence after. Would this be the problem? He drained all the oil checked the filter which has changed apparently! Took it for a ride and it seems okay. Going to bring it to dealer tomorrow. We are 2 hours from home this weekend, will go for a short ride this morning, if it happens again we will leave it go home get a trailer to bring it home.
