• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On Saturday, April 30th riders will meet for breakfast at Denny's (333 S Abbott, Milpitas, CA).

Breakfast will be at 8AM. We will... depart promptly by no later than 9:15AM on the ride. Although there will be two stops for fuel along the way, please show up with a full tank. We will have lunch in Monterey.

Fuel stops along the route include:

Hollister Chevron, 1390 Prospect Avenue, Hollister, CA (at 54 miles)
Broadway Chevron, 1 Broadway Circle, King City, CA (at 111 miles)

The total route is approximately 185 miles and should take us 5 hours to reach Monterey. Please plan accordingly as the weather can vary greatly as we start to head out towards to coast. We will stop along the route for photo-ops as it seems appropriate to do so.

Participation in this ride requires that you have a release of liability waiver on file. A copy of this waiver can be found here: http://sranorcalbayarea.club.officelive.com/Documents/SRA%20NorCal%20BA%20WaiverJan%202011.pdf. Make sure you get it to a chapter officer on the day of, or prior to the ride day.

This ride is hosted by the Spyder Ryder of America - NorCal / Bay Area Chapter. To find out more about this ride and other local rides you can visit our club website or check here on SpyderLovers.com.

Katlyn, I live in King City and would like to attend. With the itinerary, I would probably meet in Hollister. Do you have the route set up of where you will be first?

If you are on Facebook, you can follow that link and then there is a link to the route map.

We should be in Hollister by 10:30AM.

I found the itinerary and will meet you in King City. (Not a fan of Hwy 25 south of the Pinnacles as I get car sick.) BTW have you ever been on Carmel Valley Road?
