• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

200,000 Miles

Walt, Congratulations... that is some serious riding. Did you get some Iron Butts in all this mileage?

Nancy & I enjoyed meeting you at Cuba and hope to see you on the road again.

Jack

You must not own a car or truck. WOW, that is really something. Do you ever get off of it?

During most of this period I had a Ford F150. Now I have a 2012 Ford Sedan. It cost about the same as another RT. I am putting about 1,000 to 1,500 miles per month on the car.

Passed the 200,000 mile mark yesterday. Here's the numbers (rounded down):

2008 GS SM5 = 36,500 miles.
2009 GS SM5 = 114,700 miles.
2011 RT SM5 = 48,800 miles.

Total = 200,000 miles.

I passed the 100,000 mile mark on July 6, 2010.

 Maybe you could tell us at what milleage you had the valves checked and if any adjustments were needed?

With such a Great Record it would be Very interesting for everyone!! :dontknow:

All my longevity questions go to you from now on. Impressive for the rider, the rotax powerplant, and BRP.

Wonder what a 100k pin looks like..

Congrates WaltH, way to go!

DAG, :clap:that's SOOOO Kool , and combined a total of over 200K, well my hats off to ya!
May the road rise to greet you and may your travels be far!
Peace and Love
