• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

20,000 Miles

I hit 20,000 miles in 20 months today for an average of, wait for it, a thousand miles a month. Your welcome for doing the math for you. Anyway, I know that if there aint a picture it didnt happen, so here ya go.

Congrats!

Hit 20,000 in 12 months.......the math is a bit more advanced at this stage.........1666.666666 miles a month. Trip to Valcourt and an Iron Butt greatly padded that total! I am sure there are many more that have done more miles in a shorter time! Anne?????

Well it took me 27 months to hit 20,000 miles. It was helped along with a 9100 mile trip out west in July. Can someone turn this picture around?

:congrats: on the 20K. A couple more weeks or so, and I will be figuring mine for this year. Much more than last year--so I am very happy.:yes:

First off, Anne doesnt count. She kicks all of our as$&s. No really long trips for me. I just ride year round as long as it aint raining or below 30 degrees. Congrats on all the 6's in your math. Im just glad I didnt need to get the calculator out. Great to see others getting a lot of miles on these great bikes. 😁

I guess that I'm on pace with 5100 miles in 3-1/2 months. But, unfortunately, ryding season will soon come to an end around these parts - until April. :(

Congrats for reaching the 20 mileage mark.

I am passed that, I have 21,890 miles as of 10/10/17, and I'm hoping to reach the 22,000 miles mark, before the spyder goes into hibernation :banghead:.

Agreed about Anne, although if you and I got paid to ryde, we would all have a lot more miles. Anne does an incredible service to the Spyder community and deserves every penny! I need to figure out how to get paid to ryde! keep up the miles and smiles!

Congrats! And many thanks for saving us from the drudgery of computing that average.

I recently rolled up 40,000 miles in 26 months, but I didn't remember to take a picture. :opps: No long trips of any kind, just local joyrydes.

I shall defer to your mathematical skills for the average on this one! :dontknow: ;)
