• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

made 2 years on my PE2266 and living in new england still road 24 months without storing it ..... had a couple little problems
1.e-brake was adjusted at dealer and locked up on me fried the pads and caliper....
2.brake squeek ....(still does)
3.oil sending unit switch
4.dps replaced (wasn't bad...just never worked)
and thats about it.... not bad for one of the first off the line vehicle
ive added too many mods to list include gloss black paint givi bags usa hitch 30 sq ft trailer and a long list of magicman products .....
and most important a 2009 red sister spyder for the better half.....

2 years=20000 miles, many hours of fun and rubber necking .....
and last but not least a whole new community of friends to shoot the $h!t with,ride with, have coffee with , tattoo, and take a 2000 mile trip just to have a pulled pork sandwich with ...... thank you too you all and hope the next 2 years are just as good...... with a group like this and a vehicle like the can am spyder i can't see how it won't be,,,,

Sometimes it feels like I just got it--- other times feels like I've had it forever.

Been a great 2 years indeed!
 
2 Years

I got mine on March 14th, 2008. Almost to 22,000 miles and I really, really, really love the :spyder:. Every time It's on the road it's FUN!:doorag:

I was just thinking about this being year 2! I will have 2 years in May and have 16.5k on it now.
I've had more ups than downs with my spyder as well. Well, one major prob.....but; all better now! And, I just can't quit with the mods!!!
I love my SM5 spyder and love to ryde it. I am soooooo glad I have it and will never give it up! :D
I have made sooo many new friends and can't wait to go to Gatlinburg this year!!

It was nice meeting you at the BBQ last fall. This site has created a lot of new friends. I'll hit the 2yr mark in a couple of weeks, with PE 2888.

I, like you have the Spyder as my only vehicle, my choice, and I'm loving mine, so far, although I've nowhere nearing the 2 year mark yet.

Hope we all can meet up this summer somewhere...maybe a New Jersey Lighthouse ride would be cool....there are about 18 of them... I think.
