• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2 Up Spring Install

I bought the oem 2 up rear spring. Looking at the install decided I would check with the dealer as to the cost to install. They tell me they haven’t installed one yet but would do it based on 2 hours of shop time at their standard rates. Time wise that sounds reasonable to me. Thoughts or has anyone had the dealer install this spring and what did 5hey charge?

2 Up Spring Install Update

I had my Ryker in for its first service (I did all the oil changes etc myself). I asked how much to install the 2 up spring. The dealer did not know as they had not installed one yet but said it would be a max of 2 hours of shop time. I just got off the phone and it took them 1 1/2 hrs. I thought people may want to know if they are considering having it installed. I will post my thoughts on it in the next week or so as I see how I like the ride. I usually ride solo but I weigh 260 with riding gear and felt it was still riding to low in the back even with the spring set to 5.
