• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2" Pod Lights Iinstalled w/ Night Video

Only problem with pod lights they do tend to not stay in position:sour::sour:
(results may vary:roflblack:)

Night video of these nifty 2" pod lights from Amazon (B07JD8P1VV). I added Lamin-X yellow film to the lenses. Wowsers! They sure do light up the night!

The install location idea is courtesy of DickB in this thread https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?143471-Where-to-mount-2-quot-cube-aux-lights

Driver's POV video coming soon. Stay tuned!

Are these Battery powered ???? .... and thanks for the video. If you could try that again but cover your headlights so ONLY the added light pods are on then we can see what they add to what we will see ..... Mike

I plan on doing a driver's POV video and I'll add on with the headlights covered. Just gotta figure that one out.

Well I've used masking tape and alumin. foil, it's flexible and light-proof., just a suggestion ..... Thanks .... Mike PS. ...are they battery powered ?????

This is the best auxiliary light mounting for the Ryker that I have seen. I'm going to do this mod! I have the stand-off length (3/4")(thanks KnurledNut!). If not too much trouble, could someone please post the bolt sizes/lengths, angle
size/length, and the length of the L-shaped mounting bracket (I'm looking at these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WVSD6MM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A1B0DG2CAZGMIU&psc=1 )(about 3.74" long if the description is accurate).

And finally, do you think there is enough clearance fully turned between the fender and body to hold 4" wide pods?

Thanks!

I didn't use angle. I used some scrap bar I had. Very stout. It ain't going anywhere.

You could use 4" lights. Just add a piece if bar stock and use 2 of the existing mounting holes on the mount bracket.

The 'exact' size of the bar should be 5" x 1", but I used scrap. YMMV.

3/4" angle aluminum 4-1/2" long. 2 M6x35 and 2 M8x25 bolts. I used those L brackets. My lights are just under 4" diameter round.
