2 brothers dual carbon pipes

I have these pipes. Sound great. I am getting exhaust fumes from them. Not sure if it's the pipes or a bad gasket further forward. Anyone else have this problem?

I picked up my Red SM5 Spyder this past saturday with the 2 brothers dual carbon fiber pipes. The Sound is what sold me. I have heard the stock and the hinlde pipes. IMHO the 2 brothers is awesome!

I too am getting the exhaust fumes... I am thinking there needs to be some adjustment in the fuel/air or whatever for these new pipes.

I was getting increased exhaust fumes and found out that I had burned out 1/2 of the rear cylinder exhaust pipe gasket (looked like a C rather than an O). I think the exhaust leak is worth checking out.

:agree:and they are covered under warranty BRP had a bad Batch vendor was not making them to there specs mine were completley disengrated nothing left but the mesh that the graphite was supposed to hold on to :spyder:

would I have to put the stock exhaust back on before I take it into the dealer to be checked ?

Depends on the dealer. My dealer has been very supportive of aftermarket exhausts though others might not be. :dontknow:

Sounds like it's probably an exhaust gasket as opposed to a problem with the pipes. I wouldn't bother changing back to stock. My dealer likes to see the different exhausts that owners are putting on and they've even sold and installed a 2 brothers system.
