• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

1st service finds error code

Had my first service done yesterday (8-7-14) and the tech found an error code. I had a bright orange screen one time for a moment and then it was back to normal. No "limp home" mode, no problems of any sort. Code was for low brake pressure. My best guess is the orange screen was 500-700 miles ago. Just FYI.

You should probably check the brake fluid level in the reservoirs up under the seat...
Please let us know what you find; good luck!

He said the code was for low brake pressure. That's foot on the brake pedal.

There was no fix

As noted, this was a momentary (VERY momentary) a few hundred miles ago. Nothing since. If the color had not been so bright, I would have missed it. The tech said nothing to be concerned about so I am not.

"Foot on the brake" mentioned above. What causes that to set an error code?

My 2010 RT. If you barely and I mean barely touch the pedal for a few seconds. Nanny thinks you have a brake problem. I did it yesterday (again). Usually you have to shut the Spyder off, take the key out, wait a few minutes then start over with start up. I never had in reste while I was driving it.
Experts ? Could that be it ??
